Why does this matter?
There is significant overlap in symptoms between multiple diagnoses in the DSM-5-TR, the book psychologists and psychiatrists use as a guide for diagnosis. For example, Autism, OCD, Anxiety, and ADHD, among other diagnoses, all have an obsessive component. But to which diagnosis does it belong? While absolute truth isn't possible, we do our best to gather information on your physical, mental, and emotional health to help paint a more holistic picture of your experience and help understand which symptom or trait goes where.
Our Approach to Psychological Testing
Standardized assessments to evaluate for ADHD, Autism, and/or OCD. Both Dr. Cherwien Hoel and Dr. Stevens perform these tests. Please check the Our Therapists page for information on fees for Psychological Testing, as well as how to schedule.
